La Loggia

A first-floor room with its own small loggia over Via Ridola — wide enough for two chairs and a coffee at sunrise.

Outlook

Via Ridola

The loggia was added in the 1920s, likely to catch the morning trade heading to the market square, and it still gets the best early light in the building. Inside, the room runs long and narrow, with the bed positioned to face the doors rather than the wall.

Request La Loggia if you want to hear the town wake up: the bell of the Cattedrale is close enough to keep time by, not close enough to keep you up.

Glazed double doors open from a columned stone loggia into a bedroom with a linen bed and a deep wall niche
A wrought-iron balcony rail above a cobbled lane, with tiled rooftops and the ravine beyond in hazy light
A coffee cup on the loggia ledge and folded linen on a wooden chair, the lane below seen through the iron rail
